Introducing: printed Sewing Bags

If you’ve read my blog post on botanical prints, you will know that I’ve loved experimenting with lino printing recently. i really love the simplicity of printing, and how effective it can look even with a singular block print. I wanted to turn this printed fabric into a new range of products that not only are unique in pattern and style, but also are useful.

The first of these is the Simple Sewing bag or sewing kit. It’s a really simple and practical way to house all of your sewing essentials or basics. The bag has smaller pockets to make it easy to keep your needles, pins, thimbles and threads separate and secure. There is also a larger pocket, perfect for sewing scissors or unpickers. At the bottom of the bag, is a pin cushion as a handy tool to keep pins close at hand.

The whole bag folds up easily and can be secured with the ribbon around the outside. There is also a small hook at the top if you want to hang up the sewing bag when it is in use.
