Welcome to A Crafty Den.

I started A Crafty Den in 2018 when I found that not being creative had a massive impact on my happiness and mental health. After some significant encouragement from some significant individuals, bit by bit I got my creativity back. It’s changed my outlook, my spontaneity and boosted my overall happiness.

A Crafty Den is my creative space. I make bespoke handmade lampshades, and other textiles. I love exploring new techniques, ideas and seeking new inspiration. Head over to my blog to read more about those. 

In 2020, I explored creating my own fabric designs as well as expanding my bespoke lampshade offering. To purchase my latest creations, just visit my Shop.

I aim to be as sustainable as possible in my processes; when you order a lampshade you will receive it packaged initially in cellophane (for protection) and then surrounded by newspaper, in a cardboard box.
