Nautical make-up bags

In February 2018, I went on a sewing course and learned how to make a small zipped bag - these little beauties are perfect for make-up, cosmetics or general small bag. Everyone needs one of these bags because they are so useful! Since having the bag template, I’ve been obsessed with making them in every type of fabric that I can lay my hands on.

One of my favourite fabric patterns is Nautical. This style never seems to go out of fashion - it’s timeless, and makes a great go-to gift choice. Below are some of my Nautical bag ranges, most of which are available for you to purchase on my Etsy shop.

This Grey Nautical bag is a classic neutral choice; made from Moda fabric, the small white anchors are so cute!

Grey Anchor Bag

Similar to the Grey Nautical bag, the Red Multi-coloured Nautical bag is a fun and fresh nautical design. The multi-coloured anchors are set off with the pop of colour from the red zip.

The “Sail Away With Me” boat bag has an intricate, illustrative design with mini sail boats sailing across the waves. The fabric style is so unique, and makes for a very personal feel if given as a gift.

Finally, the “Having a Whale of a Time” bag uses a similar illustrative design. The Whale design is so simple and effective, and feels almost calming. I’ve chosen a beige zip to complement the beige colour of the whales.
