Handprinted Bug Lampshades!

Eeeekkkk the fabric printing is out of control!

I just LOVE creating something totally unique. I love the idea that I can make something for someone’s home that only a few other people in the world will have - isn’t that special? I’ve started thinking about how I will decorate my future house (we’ve been trying to move for what feels like a decade, don’t get me started…) and thought I should use these ideas to make wonderful new products for my wonderful customers!

SO, here is the next in my handprinted lampshade collection: Bug Copper Interior lampshades. Unlike my other printed lampshades, I chose to make these copper lampshades rather than a white interior - because the bugs deserve the best! These bad boys are perfect for matching table lamps - I envisaged them in a bedroom either side of the bed, maybe in a boy’s bedroom?

I love the little bug creature that I’ve created; I wanted to print them them as though they were crawling all over the lampshade rather than in a uniform pattern. I think they look pretty cool! Because I think these are so special, I’m only making a limited number starting with two 15cm drum lampshades.
